Potential Cannonball Saxophone Endorsement

The Cannonball Saxophone Folks are considering me for an endorsement of their horns. I play an old Silver Bell Super 20 tenor and have for 25 years. I also have a Selmer, but prefer the sound of the Super 20, but the horn is pitchy and a bit clunky mechanically. That said, it also resonates with my body more than the Selmer, which is comforting. Last summer I borrowed 8 high end horns and recorded them all playing the same musical content, same mic and mic placement, etc. The Stone Series tenor had the fullest, the widest tone, and was equal in mechanical feel to any of the other horns. I’ll keep this post current with the outcome.
